Sandra started taking watercolor classes in 1996, and continued into watercolor batik (rice paper with hot wax) and murals with other volunteers at Ronald McDonald House, Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital, and a Junior High School. Sandra was a charter member of Central Florida Watercolor Society in Orlando, where she did a batik demo and later, a seminar in May 2003. Sandra paints under the name SANHOPE.
