My inspiration is derived from scenes found in nature, the changing seasons, and the changing moods of the light. "Summer Woods" (Left) and "Elizabeth's Garden" 18 x 24 (Right)
Pat Fadden - Elizabeth's GardenPatricia Harrington Fadden was born in Salina, Kansas but spent spent most of her early life in south Florida. There she received her Bachelor's Degree in art education from the University of Miami. The creative avenues of pottery, jewelry making, painting, drawing, and quilt making were all engaged at various times throughout her life.

After several years of raising a family of five children, and working part time in the corporate world as a staff artist, Pat returned to Florida International University to pursue graduate studies. There, she earned her Master's Degree in art education. For several years following,  Pat taught high school art.

Hurricane Andrew was a turning point in Pat's life, as she and the family moved from Homestead, Florida to Sanibel Island. It was there, inspired by the natural beauty around her, that she turned to watercolor painting. In Sanibel, she was represented by the Kennedy Gallery.

Since her husband's retirement, Sautee, Georgia has been their home. It is here, where nature and history combine, that  Pat continues to find expression in painting the glorious surrounding landscapes.
