Original Watercolors
Paula Van Huss was born September 3, 1944 in Liberal, Kansas. She grew up in Atlanta, and now lives in Habersham County, Georgia.
A self taught artist in oils, she studied watercolors under Clint Carter, Nita Engle, Mary Booth Owens, and Morton Solberg before developing her own unique style of painting.

A retired Northwest Airlines employee, Paula exhibits her art at several southeastern art shows, including Powers Crossroads in Newnan, Georgia, the March art show in Fairhope, Alabama, and the August art show held in Hendersonville, North Carolina. Her work has been featured in various galleries and businesses in the southeast, and can be found in private collections from Georgia to California.

Honoring all Native American Tribes, Paula's work depicts principally Plains Indian cultures. She does her own framing, and designs all of her mats, including the cutouts, where she places objects that enhance her tribute to the native American  Indian.

Paula lives with her husband on 37 acres of mountain woodlands, along with her various pets. The seclusion and natural setting of her home inspires Paula in her almost mystical style of painting.
