Saying Goodbye to the Sassafras Artisan Market and Looking Ahead

Conclusion of the Sassafras Artisan Market

The NGAG Board of Directors has decided to discontinue the Sassafras Artisan Market (SAM). After a careful review of the event’s three-year history, it was clear that the financial and human resources required to sustain SAM outweighed its benefits.

Plans for the Future

While the market did not achieve all of its initial goals, we take pride in surpassing our fundraising expectations. The well-received “Treasure Tote” raffle, which supports Art Scholarships, will remain a continuing tradition.

Heartfelt Appreciation

We offer our deepest thanks to every member and supporter of the North Georgia Arts Guild for the dedication, time, and effort invested in the Sassafras Artisan Market. Special gratitude goes to Director Kathy Ford, whose steadfast leadership and commitment have guided our journey.
