I became interested in photography during my childhood years, watching my Dad, who was an amateur photographer. He was very encouraging and we spent our most enjoyable time together taking photographs. By the time I was twelve, I had my own camera and devoted many hours to snapping pictures of anything and everything. When I was fourteen, Dad and I built a darkroom and I was totally hooked on the art of photography.
As an electrical engineer I found that over the years photography has given me a creative outlet, while preserving great memories of people and places. My main interest lies in photographing nature and the North Georgia Mountains provides an abundance of subjects daily.
