Lesley Weiss

Lesley paints with weather-resistant stains on wood, which she finishes with polycrylic to withstand changes in humidity and temperature.  Her vibrant, large scale art may be hung on verandas, boathouses, patios, and of course, indoor too!  A self-taught artist, Lesley finds inspiration in the magnificent colorful birds, flowers, fishes, and scenes of the North Georgia Mountains.  Lesley's work was featured in the Georgia Mountain Laurel magazine August 2020 and June 2021.  She has exhibited at the Roy C. Moore Art Gallery, UNG Gainesville campus, and at local art festivals such as Celebrate Clayton, Painted Fern, and The Chattahoochee Mountain Fair where she won awards in her category each year of participation.  You can find her paintings for sale at many restaurants in Rabun County, including Chophouse at LaPrade's, and Currahee Brewing Company, or reach out through her website or email.
