Lesley Weiss

Lesley paints with weather-resistant stains on wood, which she finishes with polycrylic to withstand changes in humidity and temperature.  Her vibrant, large scale art may be hung on boathouses, porches, patios, and of course, indoor too!  A self-taught artist, Lesley finds inspiration in the magnificent colorful birds, flowers, fishes, and scenes of the North Georgia Mountains.  Lesley's painting "Paddles on Kentucky Fieldstone graced the cover of the local magazine, the Geogia Mountain Laurel in 2021.  She has exhibited at the Roy C. Moore Art Gallery, UNG Gainesville campus and has participated in many festivals such as The Painted Fern Art Festival in Clayton.
