In 1988, while visiting a bead shop, I became enamored with the many beautiful and different types of beads, crystals, and stones. After taking a bead class and purchasing many "how to" books, I taught myself to bead. A year later I started teaching at different bead shops and gem clubs in Florida.
In 1992 I won a free class at William Holland School of Lapidary Arts in Young Harris Georgia, and fell in love with the area and the many ways of creating jewelry. After taking several classes I moved to the beautiful Georgia mountains. Taking classes over the years at William Holland I learned wire wrapping, copper art, and silversmithing. I have incorporated all three mediums, and they can be seen at art shows and galleries in Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina.
