A native of Atlanta, Rennie has been painting most of her adult life. Beginning in oils, then to acrylics, then watercolor. She has taken instruction from Constantine and Roman Chatov in Atlanta, and taken various workshops up the east coast, studied extensively at Springmaid Beach in Myrtle Beach with nationally recognized teachers.
She is a member of the North Georgia Arts Guild, Macon County Art Association, Georgia Heritage Center for the Arts, Highlands Art League, and Bascom Louise Gallery.
Her works have been shown at Turning Creek Artisans, Appalachian Gallery, and Seven Oaks Gallery in Lakemont.
She is now a permanent resident in Rabun Gap, Georgia.
